I was hesitant to buy this at first because so many reviews said that at 2 years old, their children could not come close to reaching the pedals. The storage under the seat is perfect for all the things my daughter must have with her. It's enough that she has been able to also pedal herself around.
Although my 2-1/2 year old can just reach the pedals, there is enough leg room that she also loves to just use her feet to push herself along. For a first tricycle I would highly recommend this. I took a chance and am glad I did.
But she's much faster just pushing along the floor with her feet. Being winter, she's gone all over the house with no problems. She can also reach the pedals, but just one at a time.
It's light to carry around, but durable, and does not tip easily. I'm very happy I purchased this and the price was perfect.
She is 18 months old.Very active little girl. This was my granddaughter's first hot wheel. She loves Barbie so she got very excited. I am glad I choose this bike for her. It is made very well and she can handle itwith no problem.
I got this for my 2-1/2 year-old daughter for Christmas. She can't reach the pedals, so has not used it. My 4 year old actually can ride it, but the pedals do not grip well. I'd go with the Schwinn roadster next time.
My daughter is 3 years old and loves this bike. She got it Christmas Morning and got on it the minute she say it. My husband and I put it together the night before, and is pretty easy to put together and is durable for the price we paid. Besides riding it, my daughter loves to put toys in the hidden compartment under the seat.
When I bought it for my 3-year-old daughter, I was afraid that this bike might be a little small for her because she's quite big for her age. But the bike turned out to be perfect for 3 or 4-year-olds, and my daughter loves her new bike very much. She does not have any problem with the fake key in the front, since she's always been a cautious child. The only complain I have about the bike is that it is really noisy, but since my daughter won't play with it at night, I can live with that.
